Low Income Bail Bonds Services

When you have been charged with a crime, ensuring you make bail can be a very expensive process. As a result, many people either do not have the money available to pay for it or have to rely on their loved ones to get them out, resulting in financial concerns. Depending on the charge, the bail can increase in value. In such a situation, it's important to remember that there are low income bail bonds and no income bail bonds available. If you have been charged with a crime in California, there are ways for you to make bail with either a low or no income option available to you.

How Much Does a Bail Bond Cost?

If you are looking to get out of jail or you are looking to bail someone out, the cost of bail will depend on the charges. When you've been charged with a crime, the bail schedule is posted at the jail where you are held.

Each charge has its own bail amount and in order to get out of jail, you need to pay the entire total of the bail, even if you've been charged with more than one crime. For example, if you violate probation (PC 1203.2), the bail amount is set at $5,000. This amount also applies to other misdemeanors such as carrying a concealed firearm (PC 12025(B)(7)) and indecent exposure (PC 314).

At the other end of the spectrum are felony charges, for example, a hate crime (PC 422.75(A)) and using a minor to commit a drug offense (HS 11380.1(A)(1)), the bail is set at $20,000 in the state of California.

In the state of California, and in most circumstances, the rate for bail bonds is approximately 10% of the total cost of bail. While there are occasions where bail rates can be set as low as 7%, it's important to remember that it's not always possible to negotiate a low 7% bail bond.

How Long Does Bail Take?

When it comes to the bail bond process, it doesn't have to take a long time. With the right bail agent, it can have a turnaround of a few hours. But this is where having the right bail agent can help and give you an understanding of how you can get bail bonds, even if you don't have the relevant finances.

How Can You Get Bail Bonds With No Money?

Bail amounts can vary and it's not always feasible for someone to pay an amount in the tens of thousands of dollars, which means that the accused would need to sit in jail until the conclusion of the case, which is unjust. After all, people accused of crimes are considered innocent until they are proven guilty. And this is why we offer a low income or no income bail bonds service. There are usually two situations where a no income or low income bail bond would apply:

The Amount Is Low

If the bail figure is considered low, it is possible to bail someone out of jail without needing to pay the figure upfront, but this would require the 10% premium being paid either upon release or within seven days.

The Person Has Other Collateral

This second option would result in the person using collateral such as their home, which would guarantee the bond would be paid in full. However, this option is only used for large bail amounts due to the overall cost of the bail.

What Other Bail Bond Options Are There?

There are other plans available in addition to low or no payments where we would require a small percentage of the bail amount. These plans include:

1% Bail Bond

The 1% bail bond would mean they would only need to pay a 1% fee at the initial point but pay the remaining amount later on.

2% Bail Bond

If the person paying has a co-signer, this would be another option to pursue. In this situation, they would need to put down 2% immediately and pay the remaining 8% at a later date.

It's important to remember that in order to qualify for certain bail bond services, you may need to adhere to certain criteria. For example, if you are to qualify for 1% bail bonds in the state of California you must be a first-time offender and located in southern California. Additionally, there are specific charges that you would need to fall under, for example, domestic battery (PC243(E)(1)).

Find the Right Bail Bonds Company Near You

The conclusion of any crime can take a while, and this is why bail bonds can be a necessary measure during this time. Ensuring that the accused is able to get out of jail in order to prepare their services is essential. When someone is charged with a crime they have a right to contest their innocence but when it comes to the act of making bail, the cost can be astronomical and be too much stress to pay all in one go.

Being in jail makes it impossible to earn the money to support yourself during this time. This is why a local bail bond company such as us has a variety of options and locations throughout Southern California to meet many needs. For people who are on a low or no income, there are bail bonds for every need. Additionally, there are fast and easy flexible payment plans with access to bail bonds online or by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With no background credit checks and quick phone approval, if you are looking for low or no income bail bonds in the state of California, it's important to remember that there are many options available for you.
